Creamy Caesar Dressing
Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold running water. Shake off excess water and dry using a salad spinner or by patting with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons and Parmesan
Add the croutons and 0.5 cups of grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl with the chopped Romaine lettuce. Toss gently to combine.
Dressing Preparation
- 3
Make the Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic cloves, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
- 4
Taste and Adjust
Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or pepper to taste.
Final Assembly
- 5
Combine Salad with Dressing
Pour the creamy Caesar dressing over the Romaine lettuce mixture. Toss well to ensure all the lettuce, croutons, and cheese are evenly coated with the dressing.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Caesar salad immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese on top.
