Blueberry Syrup

Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup

Nitro Cold Brew

Method

Blueberry Syrup

  1. 1

    Prepare Blueberry Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine fresh blueberries, granulated sugar, and water.

  2. 2

    Cook the mixture

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the blueberries have burst and the mixture has thickened slightly.

  3. 3

    Finish the syrup

Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Let cool before straining through a fine mesh sieve to remove solids.

Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup

  1. 4

    Prepare Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.

  2. 5

    Cook the syrup

Heat over medium heat, stirring until the brown sugar has dissolved completely.

  3. 6

    Add vanilla

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Allow to cool before using.

Nitro Cold Brew

  1. 7

    Brew the coffee

In a large jar or pitcher, combine coarse coffee grounds and cold water. Stir well, cover, and let steep for 12-24 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. 8

    Strain the coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter to remove grounds. You should have a concentrated cold brew.

  3. 9

    Nitro infuse (if available)

If you have a nitro coffee maker, infuse the cold brew with nitrogen for a creamy texture. If not, proceed to the next step.

  4. 10

    Serve

In a glass, pour the nitro cold brew, add oat milk to taste, and drizzle in blueberry syrup and spiced brown sugar syrup. Stir gently and enjoy!
