Burger or Grilled Chicken

Toppings

Method

Preparing the Burger or Chicken

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or grilled chicken breast with salt and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for beef or 165°F (74°C) for chicken.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Onion Rings

If using store-bought onion rings, follow the package instructions for cooking. If making homemade, slice an onion into rings, dip in batter, and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

  3. 5

    Prepare the Bleu Cheese

In a small bowl, crumble the bleu cheese if not pre-crumbled. This will be used as a topping.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Build the Burger

Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a burger bun. Top with crispy bacon, onion rings, and a generous amount of bleu cheese crumbles. Drizzle steakhouse sauce over the top and finish with the top half of the bun.
