Method
Ahi Tuna Preparation
- 1
Marinating the Tuna
In a medium bowl, combine the Ahi tuna, yuzu juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, and salt. Mix well until the tuna is evenly coated in the marinade.
- 2
Marinate
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the Ahi tuna marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Wonton Chips
- 3
Prepare the Wonton Chips
In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Wontons
Carefully add the wonton wrappers to the hot oil in batches, frying them for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Sriracha Aioli
- 5
Prepare the Aioli
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Adjust the sriracha amount according to your spice preference.
Assembly
- 6
Assemble the Nachos
On a serving platter, arrange the crispy wonton chips. Top with the marinated Ahi tuna, sliced avocado, and a drizzle of sriracha aioli.
- 7
Garnish
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped cilantro over the top for added flavor and presentation.
