Salad Base
Caesar Dressing
Method
Preparing the Salad
Wash the Romaine Lettuce
Start by rinsing the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Shake off the excess water.
Chop the Romaine
Using a sharp knife, chop the washed romaine into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
Add Croutons
Sprinkle the croutons evenly over the chopped romaine in the salad bowl.
Making the Caesar Dressing
Prepare the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves finely, or use a garlic press for convenience.
Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Mix the Dressing
Whisk all the ingredients together until the dressing is smooth and well combined.
Assembling the Salad
Dress the Salad
Pour the prepared Caesar dressing over the romaine and croutons in the salad bowl. Use a salad tongs or two forks to gently toss the salad until the lettuce and croutons are evenly coated with the dressing.
Serve
Serve the Chicken Caesar salad immediately for the best taste and texture. Optionally, garnish with additional Parmesan cheese on top.
