Garlic Aioli
Method
Croissant Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Croissants
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the croissants in half lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- 2
Layer the Filling
Place 2 slices of oven-roasted turkey on the bottom half of each croissant. Top with 2 slices of Wisconsin gouda cheese.
- 3
Melt the Cheese
Place the filled croissants on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are slightly crispy.
Garlic Aioli Preparation
- 4
Make the Garlic Aioli
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise with 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
- 5
Mix Well
Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and the aioli is smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembly
- 6
Assemble the Sandwich
Once the croissants are out of the oven, spread a generous amount of garlic aioli on the top half of each croissant.
- 7
Complete the Sandwich
Close the croissant by placing the top half over the bottom half with the turkey and gouda. Serve immediately.
