Pancake Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter may be lumpy; do not overmix.

Cook Pancakes
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

Mix Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until you reach a smooth and spreadable consistency.
Assembly and Garnishing

Layer Pancakes
On a serving plate, place one pancake down, spread a layer of strawberry jam, and then a layer of cream cheese icing. Top with another pancake and repeat. Finish with a third pancake on top.

In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream on top of the pancake stack. Dust with powdered sugar, and garnish with fresh strawberry slices.
