Method
Biscuit Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 2
Cut in Butter
Add the cold, unsalted butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3
Add Milk
Pour the whole milk into the flour mixture and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 4
Shape Biscuits
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick. Use a round cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet.
- 5
Bake
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Eggs Preparation
- 6
Cook Eggs
While the biscuits are baking, cook the eggs to your preference (scrambled, fried, or poached) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Potato Preparation
- 7
Prepare Potatoes
Wash and dice the red skin potatoes into small cubes.
- 8
Season and Roast
Toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them out on a separate baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until tender and crispy.
