Biscuit Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This ensures that the biscuits will bake evenly and rise properly.
- 2
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 3
Cut in Butter
Add the unsalted butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

- 5
Shape the Biscuits
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a glass.
- 6
Bake the Biscuits
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
