Mushrooms

Method

Preparation

1

Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the Portobello mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set them aside for later use.

2

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Filling Preparation

3

Mix the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended and smooth.

4

Prepare the Mushroom Caps

Drizzle the olive oil over the mushroom caps and rub them to ensure they are evenly coated. Place them cap side up on a baking sheet.

Stuffing and Baking

5

Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a spoon, fill each mushroom cap generously with the cream cheese mixture, pressing it down slightly to ensure it stays in place.

6

Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is lightly golden.

7

Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your stuffed mushrooms warm!
