Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the pasta of your choice. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2

Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add your choice of sauce (Marinara, Alfredo, or Pesto) and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

3

Cook the Protein

If using grilled chicken, shrimp, or meatballs, heat them in a separate pan until thoroughly cooked, about 5-7 minutes. If using tofu, sauté until golden brown.

4

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same pan used for the protein, add sliced vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms, and zucchini). Sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.

Assembly

5

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sauce, cooked protein, and sautéed vegetables. Toss gently until everything is well coated.

6

Garnishing the Dish

Serve the pasta in bowls and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and red pepper flakes to taste.
