Method
Prepare the Pasta
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Grill the Chicken
- 2
Season the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Make the Alfredo Sauce
- 4
Melt the Butter
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- 5
Add Cream and Garlic
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously.
- 6
Add Cheese and Seasoning
Once the cream is heated, gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
- 7
Toss Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until well coated.
- 8
Serve with Chicken
Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
