Method

Preparation of Topping

  1. 1

    Dice Tomatoes

Remove the stems from the Roma tomatoes, then cut them in half and scoop out the seeds. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Chop Basil

Rinse the fresh basil leaves under cold water, pat them dry, then stack them and roll them tightly. Slice the rolled basil into thin strips (chiffonade) and add to the bowl with the tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Add Flavorings

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the mixing bowl along with balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients. Let the topping marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Grilling Bread

  1. 4

    Prepare the Baguette

Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices diagonally.

  2. 5

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush each slice of baguette with olive oil on both sides to enhance flavor and prevent sticking.

  3. 6

    Grill the Bread

Place the oiled baguette slices on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the grill.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Top the Bread

Spoon the marinated tomato and basil mixture generously onto each slice of grilled bread.

  2. 8

    Serve

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious grilled bruschetta!
