Sauce Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sauce

In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add the Tomatoes and Spices

Stir in the crushed red pepper flakes, canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Simmer the Sauce

Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 5

    Spread the Sauce

Spread a generous amount of the prepared sauce over your pizza dough.

  3. 6

    Add Cheese and Pepperoni

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then layer the pepperoni slices on top.

  4. 7

    Bake the Pizza

Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  5. 8

    Drizzle with Honey

Once out of the oven, drizzle Mike's Hot Honey over the top of the pizza for a sweet and spicy finish.

  6. 9

    Serve

Slice the pizza and serve hot.
