Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Finish the Sauce
Stir in the chopped fresh basil just before serving. Remove from heat.

Layer the Meatballs and Sauce
In a baking dish, place the baked meatballs and pour the house sauce over them, ensuring they are well coated.

Add Mozzarella Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the meatballs and sauce.

Broil the Dish
Place the baking dish under the broiler for about 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve the meatball parm on slices of crusty bread, allowing the bread to soak up some of the sauce.
