Sandwich Assembly

Method

Marinating the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling the Chicken

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Prepare the Ingredients

While the chicken is resting, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick rounds.

  2. 6

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  3. 7

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread 2 tablespoons of aioli on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by a grilled chicken breast. Top with sliced tomatoes and cover with the top half of the bun.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half if desired, and serve immediately with your choice of side (e.g., fries, salad). Enjoy!
