Method
Waffle Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, brown rice flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well incorporated.
- 2
Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil. If using eggs, beat them and add to the wet mixture.
- 3
Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing; a few lumps are fine.
- 4
Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Lightly grease it with non-stick spray or additional coconut oil if necessary.
- 5
Cook Waffles
Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the preheated waffle iron (usually about 1/2 to 3/4 cup, depending on the size of your waffle iron). Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
