Burger Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon-Onion Jam

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, add diced onion and cook until caramelized. Add the cooked bacon back, along with sugar, and cook for another 2 minutes. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Garlic Aioli

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise with minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burger Patties

Form the ground beef into two patties, season with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add cheese curds on top to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Pretzel Buns

In a separate skillet, lightly toast the pretzel buns until golden.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Wisco Burger

Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half of the pretzel bun. Place the burger patty with melted cheese curds on top, add a generous spoonful of bacon-onion jam, and layer on the arugula. Top with the other half of the pretzel bun.
