Chili Cheese Fries
Method
Chili Cheese Fries
- 1
Prepare the French Fries
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the French fries package. Spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Bake the French Fries
Bake the French fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- 3
Cook the Ground Beef
While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Add Seasoning and Tomatoes
Once the beef is cooked, add the mule chili seasoning and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
Once the fries are done baking, remove from the oven and transfer them to a large serving bowl. Top the fries with the chili mixture, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- 6
Melt the Cheese
Place the assembled fries back into the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Remove the chili cheese fries from the oven and garnish with sour cream and sliced green onions. Serve immediately and enjoy!
