Lamb Tart Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cauliflower Puree

Chop the cauliflower into florets and steam until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and transfer to a blender. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste, then blend until smooth. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Lamb

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the ground lamb, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in fresh dill and remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Braised Peppers

Slice the bell peppers into strips. In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed, and cook the peppers over medium heat until they are soft and lightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Lamb Tart

On a serving platter, spread a generous layer of cauliflower puree. Top with the cooked lamb mixture, followed by the braised peppers. Finally, shave the pistachios over the top for garnish.
