Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.

Wrap Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, wash and chop the romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, and avocado. Slice the avocado and tomato thinly, and chop the lettuce and onion.

  2. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, and salt to taste. Mix well until smooth.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Wraps

Lay out the flour tortillas. Start by adding a layer of romaine lettuce, followed by the sliced steak, tomato, onion, avocado, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Drizzle the prepared sauce over the top.

  4. 6

    Wrap it Up

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from the bottom up to create a wrap. Cut in half if desired.
