Pour 1.5 ounces of your choice of tequila into a shot glass.

Place 1 teaspoon of salt on the back of your hand, just above your thumb.

Get Ready with Lime
Cut a lime into wedges and keep one wedge handy.

Take the Shot
Lick the salt from your hand, quickly drink the tequila shot, and then bite into the lime wedge.
