Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork ribs.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C). Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce and return them to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.

Preparing the Coleslaw

  1. 5

    Mix the Coleslaw Dressing

In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Add the coleslaw mix and shredded carrots to the dressing. Toss until all the vegetables are well coated.

  3. 7

    Chill the Coleslaw

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
