Main Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip them over and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it is fully melted but not browned.

  2. 5

    Add Flavorings

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 6

Mix in Lemon Juice and Zest

Stir in the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest. Allow the sauce to simmer for an additional 2 minutes.

  4. 7

    Finish with Parsley

Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plating the Dish

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce generously over the top of the salmon.

  2. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional chopped parsley and lemon wedges if desired. Serve immediately.
