Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Topping

Dice the tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl. Make sure to remove seeds for a less watery topping.

  2. 2

    Add Flavor

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes. Tear the fresh basil leaves into smaller pieces and add them to the mixture.

  3. 3

    Season the Mixture

Add the balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Grilling the Bread

  1. 4

    Slice the Bread

Slice the baguette or Italian bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 5

    Drizzle with Olive Oil

Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil to enhance flavor and prevent sticking while grilling.

  3. 6

    Grill the Bread

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the bread slices on the grill and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they develop grill marks and are crispy.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Top the Bread

Remove the grilled bread from the grill and place it on a serving platter. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice.

  2. 8

    Serve Immediately

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is warm and crispy for the best taste experience.
