Method

Beef Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the beef steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary on both sides.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your preference. Adjust time according to the thickness of the steak.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 8

    Drain and Season

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Immediately season with salt to taste.
