Method

Lemon Sorbet Preparation

    Juicing the Lemons

    Cut the lemons in half and juice them, ensuring you remove any seeds. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

    Making the Syrup

    In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

    Mixing Ingredients

    Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool. Once cooled, mix in the lemon juice and a pinch of salt.

    Freezing the Sorbet

    Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Orange Sorbet Preparation

Serving the Sorbet

    Take the empty lemon and orange shells and ensure they are clean. You can also use coconut shells if desired.
