Method

Preparation of Base

1

Crush the Biscuits

Place the Maria biscuits in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Alternatively, you can place them in a zip-lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

2

Prepare the Cream Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Use an electric mixer or whisk to beat the mixture until it thickens and forms soft peaks.

Layering

3

Layer the Ingredients

In a serving dish or individual glasses, start by adding a layer of the crushed biscuit crumbs, followed by a layer of the cream mixture. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish, finishing with a layer of the cream mixture.

Chilling and Serving

4

Chill the Dessert

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results. This allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

5

Garnish and Serve

Before serving, sprinkle the top with cinnamon powder and chopped nuts if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy your Serradura!
