Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by gathering all the ingredients. Clean and prepare the seafood: peel and devein the shrimp, clean the mussels and clams, and cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions, celery, and carrots. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

  2. 3

    Add Garlic and Tomatoes

Stir in the minced garlic and diced tomatoes. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften.

  3. 4

    Pour in Liquids

Pour in the fish stock (or seafood broth) and white wine. Add the bay leaf. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

  4. 5

    Add Seafood

Once simmering, add the shrimp, white fish, mussels, and clams to the pot. Stir gently to combine.

  5. 6

    Season the Soup

Season the soup with salt and black pepper to taste. Continue to simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the mussels and clams have opened.

  6. 7

    Finish with Parsley

Remove the bay leaf and stir in the chopped parsley just before serving for a fresh flavor.
