Method
Preparation of Lobster
- 1
Prepare the Lobster Tails
Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
- 2
Prepare the Jumbo Shrimp
Peel and devein the jumbo shrimp. Leave the tails on for presentation.
Making the Stuffing
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cooked crab meat, melted butter, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
- 4
Stuff the Lobster Tails
Spoon the stuffing mixture evenly into each prepared lobster tail, pressing down slightly to secure the filling.
Marinating and Grilling
- 5
Prepare Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
- 6
Marinate the Shrimp
Brush the marinade over the jumbo shrimp and let them sit for about 15 minutes.
- 7
Grill the Lobster and Shrimp
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the stuffed lobster tails and marinated shrimp on the grill. Grill the lobster tails for about 8-10 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. Grill the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
