Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Chop the Parsley

Finely chop the fresh parsley and set aside for garnish.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  2. 5

    Sear the Pork Chops

Add the pork chops to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 6

    Add Garlic and Butter

In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and butter to the skillet. Stir the garlic and butter around the chops, allowing the flavors to blend.

  4. 7

    Rest the Pork Chops

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for about 5 minutes.

  5. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the pork chops before serving.
