Prepare the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.

Mince the Garlic
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Set aside.

Chop the Parsley
Finely chop the fresh parsley and set aside for garnish.

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Sear the Pork Chops
Add the pork chops to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Rest the Pork Chops
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for about 5 minutes.

Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the pork chops before serving.
