Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped fresh rosemary, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- 2
Marinate the Lamb Chops
Place the lamb chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that each chop is evenly coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for better flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Grill or Oven
If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat it to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Cook the Lamb Chops
Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and shake off any excess. If grilling, place the chops on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. If using the oven, arrange the chops on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.
- 5
Check for Doneness
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the lamb chops. For medium-rare, it should be around 145°F (63°C).
- 6
Rest and Serve
Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the lamb chops from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute. Serve warm and enjoy!
