Method

Marinade Preparation

1

Mix the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine the Piri-Piri sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.

Marinate Chicken

2

Prepare the Chicken

Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.

3

Let it Marinate

Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for the best flavor.

Grilling

4

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).

5

Grill the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off excess. Place the chicken on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 6-7 minutes, then flip and cook for another 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Serving

6

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
