Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Mince the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves finely.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sauté for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 4
Make the Lemon Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- 5
Combine and Simmer
Bring the sauce to a simmer, then return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
- 6
Garnish
Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the chicken and lemon sauce before serving.
