Method

For the Herb-Crusted Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine the chopped parsley, basil, oregano, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until a paste forms.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and spread the herb mixture evenly over the tops of the fillets. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Once the grill is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 3-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

For the Sautéed Broccoli

  1. 5

    Prepare the Broccoli

While the salmon is marinating, wash and cut the broccoli into florets.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Broccoli

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Cook the Broccoli

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender yet still vibrant green.
