Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Fish

Clean the mojarra fish thoroughly and make deep cuts on both sides of the fish.

2

Marinate

In a bowl, mix the juice of one lime, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the fish, including inside the cuts. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3

Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

4

Fry the Fish

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the fish in the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.

5

Garnish and Serve

Remove the fish from the pan and place on a platter. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the fish and garnish with chopped cilantro and sliced onion. Serve immediately.
