Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Make the Brownies

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  3. 3

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined.

  4. 4

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  5. 5

    Cool and Cut

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Sundae

In a serving dish or bowl, layer brownie squares with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, and whipped cream.

  7. 7

Top with chopped nuts if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy this sharable dessert!
