Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients and chop the vegetables. Make sure to have the shrimp peeled and deveined.

Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Then add the diced carrots and shredded cabbage, cooking for another 5 minutes until tender.

Combine and Season
Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet along with the tamari soy sauce, black pepper, and salt to taste. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
