Granola Bar Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped almonds, dried raspberries, dried apricots, and salt. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix together the honey (or maple syrup), nut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Press into Pan

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Press it down firmly and evenly using a spatula or your hands.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  7. 7

    Cool and Cut

Let the granola bars cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper. Cut into bars and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
