Wash the Greens
Rinse the mixed salad greens under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Gently pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.
- 2
Chop the Vegetables
Halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the cucumber, thinly slice the red onion, and cube the avocado. Set the vegetables aside.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, combine the washed mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, sliced red onion, and cubed avocado. Toss gently to mix.
Making the Vinaigrette
- 4
Mix the Ingredients
In a small bowl or jar, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper.
- 5
Whisk or Shake
Whisk the mixture together until well combined or seal the jar and shake vigorously until all ingredients are emulsified.
Final Assembly
- 6
Dress the Salad
Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad mixture in the large bowl. Use tongs or salad servers to toss the salad gently until all the greens and vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.
