Method

Broth Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pot, combine the chicken broth and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Add Flavorings

Stir in the soy sauce and miso paste until fully dissolved. Add minced garlic, sliced ginger, and half of the chopped green onions.

  3. 3

    Simmer

Let the broth simmer for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Noodle Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook Noodles

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually around 3-4 minutes.

  2. 5

    Drain and Rinse

Once cooked, drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Serve Broth

Ladle the prepared broth into bowls.

  2. 7

    Add Noodles

Place a portion of the cooked ramen noodles into each bowl of broth.

  3. 8

    Add Toppings

Top the noodles with soft-boiled eggs (halved), sliced pork belly, nori sheets, bamboo shoots, corn kernels, and a drizzle of chili oil.

  4. 9

    Garnish

Finish with the remaining chopped green onions as garnish.
