Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Add Edamame

Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame. Make sure the beans are fully submerged in the water.

  3. 3

    Steam Edamame

Cover the pot and let the edamame steam for about 5-6 minutes, or until they are tender and bright green.

  4. 4

    Drain Edamame

After steaming, carefully drain the edamame in a colander to remove excess water.

  5. 5

    Season with Salt

While the edamame is still warm, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sea salt over the beans and toss to coat evenly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Transfer the seasoned edamame to a serving bowl and enjoy warm as a healthy snack or appetizer.
