Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame. Make sure the beans are fully submerged in the water.

Steam Edamame
Cover the pot and let the edamame steam for about 5-6 minutes, or until they are tender and bright green.

Drain Edamame
After steaming, carefully drain the edamame in a colander to remove excess water.

Season with Salt
While the edamame is still warm, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sea salt over the beans and toss to coat evenly.
