Lamb Sis Kebab
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Lamb
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the lamb cubes and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- 2
Prepare the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, ensure they are soaked in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- 3
Assemble the Skewers
Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the skewers, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.
- 4
Grill the Kebab
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
- 5
Prepare the Vegetables
While the lamb is grilling, add halved tomatoes and bell peppers to the grill. Cook until charred, about 5-7 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Serve the lamb kebabs with grilled vegetables, rice, and garnishing of your choice, such as fresh parsley or mint.
