Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Add the chicken thighs and coat them evenly with the spice mixture.

Place the coated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
