Prepare the Coffee Mixture

Brew the Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Mascarpone Mixture

Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Combine Mixtures
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture. Do not soak them; they should be moist but not soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings if desired.
