Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.

Add Croutons and Parmesan
Sprinkle the croutons evenly over the chopped Romaine lettuce. Grate the Parmesan cheese and add it to the salad.

Make the Caesar Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well combined. If using, add the anchovy paste and whisk until fully incorporated.

Combine Salad and Dressing
Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad mixture. Toss gently until the lettuce is evenly coated with the dressing. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if desired.
