Hibiscus Berry Tea Directions
- 1
Prepare the Hibiscus Infusion
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers.
- 2
Steep the Hibiscus
Cover the saucepan and let the hibiscus steep for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to fully develop and the color to deepen.
- 3
Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the hibiscus tea through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding the hibiscus flowers.
- 4
Add Berries and Sweetener
Add 1 cup of mixed berries and 2 tablespoons of honey (or your preferred sweetener) to the strained tea. Stir well to combine.
- 5
Chill the Tea
Allow the tea to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until chilled.
- 6
Serve
Serve the tea over ice, garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves to taste. Enjoy your refreshing Hibiscus Berry Tea!
