Tuna Preparation

Season the Tuna
Pat the fresh tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the tuna and season generously with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Tuna
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned tuna steaks. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or cook to your preferred doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
Spicy Aioli

Make the Aioli
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended. Adjust the sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.
Garnish

Prepare the Garnish
Finely chop the green onions. Set aside for garnishing the tuna.

Assemble the Dish
Slice the rested tuna steaks into thick slices and arrange them on a serving plate. Top each piece with a generous dollop of spicy aioli, a sprinkle of chopped green onions, and drizzle with additional sriracha sauce to taste.
