Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Skirt Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the skirt steak to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

Season the jumbo shrimp with olive oil, garlic, lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Skirt Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the skirt steak from the marinade and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

In the last few minutes of cooking the steak, add the marinated shrimp to the grill or skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

  5. 5

    Serve

Let the skirt steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with the grilled shrimp and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
