Prepare the Chips
Cut each corn tortilla into quarters to form triangles. Heat the vegetable oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the tortilla triangles in batches, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.
